Do you remember the first movie you ever watched?

I do, and I can remember it as if it was yesterday, it was the Disney classic Bambi (don't laugh, please!).

When I first started watching movies you couldn't buy cheap dvds or any dvds for that matter, so my mom took my sister and me to our local movie theater when I was about 6 years old, it was the first time in my life that I'd tasted Coca-Cola and popcorn, and I'm not ashamed to say I cried my eyes out when Bambi's mother got killed. It was a seminal moment in a young guys life!

Now Bambi may not be a 'classic' in the strictest sense of the word, but to me it always will be, because the magic of that movie had a profound effect on me as a young guy and was the catalyst to what was to become one of the greatest loves/addictions of my life.......the motion picture.

What makes movies so addictive?

In truth I don't know the answer to that question, and to be perfectly honest, I don't really care.

I just know that I love every aspect of the movie industry - and as you are here, I assume that you probably do too - So welcome to my site.

So, What's This Site All About?

Well first off, it might be called Cheap DVDs Advisor, but it's not in any way about being cheap or mean with your money, it is however all about getting the best deals you can on the DVDs you want to buy.

The fact that I love buying cheap DVDs is an undeniable truth, and this site is all about finding the best movies available on-line at the best price possible - and trust me, there are 1000's of sellers 'out there' on the web, literally falling over themselves to help us on the road to 'Movie Heaven'.

Let me tell you a short story.....

.....We've all heard the saying - "Big Business is King" right? - Well, it's the job of Big Business is to make the most money it can for its investors (I don't have a problem with that, that's what their investors want), the way it does that though, is by charging You & Me, the consumer, as much as it can get away with, for the products or services we want to buy (In our case it's DVD Movies).

And they will do that for as long as we allow them to. However, we don't have to pay their over-inflated prices, because if we arm ourselves with the right information, we can beat their system, keep as much of our hard-earned money in our pockets, and still find the best movies at the best prices.

So that, in a nutshell, is what this site is all about, providing the information to you need to beat the system and chase the deals without compromising on what we want.
